I worked for Dr. De Candido. On the employment application I had to give what time I was born, his wife needed it so she could make an astrology chart on me, this would help in the employment decision. His office never had hot water. I was fired because I filed something incorrectly with Medicare via computer billing...he didn't want to bring any attention to his practice with Medicare, he couldn't risk it so I was fired.

So, he stole $600,000 to $750,000 worth of fish. He's ordered to pay about $75,000 between restitution and fines. What about the rest of what he stole?

13 months in prison, huh? He'll probably be out before then, and he'll be back on the water doing the same stuff as before. The punishments being handed out are not enough to deter this type of behavior.

I thought you might be interested in this letter written by Army Corps of Engineers whistleblower Bunny Greenhouse, who was retaliated against after she testified to Congress last week. Ms. Greenhouse is calling on all Americans to support whistleblower protection for federal employees. To read her letter go to http://capwiz.com/whistleblowers/issues/alert/?alertid=13371836

I think that's DISGUSTING. he lost his job (boo-hoo), so that's IT ???? he was essentially "enabling the civil rights abuses" AFTER the fact. I think if the investigatee is found guilty, this bates guy should share a bit of THAT punishment. "Little stuff" like this slides by, and after awhile it's, "oh, EVERYone's doing it". I think it's just disgusting, man.
